Leadership Team
One of the facets of the success of Lambda Theta Alpha, our connectivity and our pursuit to link all women in unity, is a direct result of our Leadership Team. The Leadership Team is comprised of the Board of Directors, Regional Officers, and Area Officers.
Board of Directors
At the core of Lambda Theta Alpha lies a strong Board of Directors. The board was created by the strength and wisdom of our diverse founding mothers. The fundamental purpose of this board is to unite all of the sorority's constituencies expanding throughout the nation. Not only is this team of dedicated alumnae and graduate sisters concerned with our overall professional, political and social endeavors, but it also maintains the bond of sisterhood we all share. Regional Officers
The intent of Regional Officers is to provide the link between the Board of Directors of Area Officers within regions of our nation. Our organization is placed into four regions: Northeast, Southeast, Central, and West.
Area Executive Boards
The primary purpose of the Area Executive Boards is to oversee and support all of our Chapters. These boards were created in order to give local groups of chapters in one state, or chapters within a particular region of a state, the guidance and supervision they need in order to function more effectively. The boards serve as a medium where sisters can form strong relationships with other chapters in close proximity as well as stay abreast of national issues. Alumnae Chapters
The primary focus of alumnae chapters is to engage post-baccalaureate sisters in political, social, and community service activities within our communities. Alumnae Chapters are also committed to the ensure the success of our Undergraduate chapters. Not only do they advise local chapters, they also sponsor workshops and conferences. Undergraduate Chapters
The primary focus of our Undergraduate Chapters is to effectively carry out the purpose of the organization through campus and community projects, activities, and events. The sisters within these chapters strive to uphold the Sorority's commitment to community service and academics. Each chapter coordinates events related to community service, educational/cultural programs, scholarship, social planning, sisterhood, and promotion of Greek life.
Our undergraduate chapters win numerous awards for their hard work in community service, programming, and academic achievement at their home institutions as well as they respective communities. To view a list of our undergraduate chapters please click here.
