Lambda Theta Alpha Welcomes New Chapters
LTA is pleased to announce the establishment of
2 undergraduate chapters and 4 alumnae chapters

Seattle, WA - Lambda Theta Alpha Latin Sorority Incorporated welcomes the addition of six chapters to our organization. The newest additions are:

Undergraduate Chapters:

Epsilon Omega Chapter
University of Memphis

Zeta Alpha Chapter
Virginia Commonwealth University

Alumnae Chapters:

Alpha Omicron Chapter
Phoenix, AZ

Alpha Pi Chapter
Boston, MA

Alpha Rho Chapter
Raleigh, NC

Alpha Sigma Chapter
Atlanta, GA

After much dedication and hard work as an Interest Group, we congratulate our newest members in successfully establishing chapters in their respective Universities. In addition, our alumnae members have successfully opened 4 alumnae chapters this past spring to continue to provide alumnae programming and incentives to our membership. The addition brings the organization to a total of 120 undergraduate chapters and 18 alumnae chapters established since 1975.

The Board of Directors would like to thank the Recruitment and Retention Committee and alumnae of Lambda Theta Alpha Latin Sorority, Inc. for their commitment to assisting these groups and their establishment. The Board also appreciates the collaborative efforts between our organization and the Universities. We look forward to our chapters' positive contributions to your campuses and a continued partnership.

Lambda Theta Alpha was founded at Kean University in 1975 as the first Latina sorority in the nation. Lambda Theta Alpha strives to develop strong leaders that produce and engage in political, social, and cultural activities. Based on the principles of Unity, Love, and Respect, the Sorority was established for the unification of women through charitable and educational programs. Although Lambda Theta Alpha is Latin by tradition, the Sorority is inclusive to all women regardless of race, color, creed, sexual identity, gender expression, or religious beliefs.
